Aims of the Foundation:
 
The principal aim of the Foundation is to define a national strategy for the systematic research into the study of the era, the work and the life of European History and Economy. The aim of the Foundation is to function on a national level as a dynamic European research and educational centre constituting a central point of reference for the coordination of research into the work, era and life of the great statesman and more generally into Ancient Greek and Modern European philosophy and history without ideological constraints and preconceptions and without local limitations. Benefiting from its flexible administrative and economical structure, the Foundation will be free of restraints and able to move beyond the hierarchy of the state and the structure of academic establishment. In order to accomplish its objectives the Foundation has planned:
 
• The creation of an archive for the collection of original documents and reproductions of documents from public and private collections
 
• The collection, preservation and exploitation of photographic and audio-visual material and historical economical artifacts
 
• The establishment of a specialized library and the collection of printed material connected with the aims of the Foundation
 
• The elaboration of research programmes and coordinated research projects, the execution of programmes for providing the foundations for research and cooperation with University and other research institutes in Bulgaria and abroad for the furthering of the aims of the Foundation
 
• Activities in the field of education through educational programmes and special events, The writing of informative books and the production of audio-visual material
 
• The compilation of a bibliography of works by and about European Econoimical life and the publication of his writings
 
• The awarding of prizes for writings connected to the aims of the Foundation
 
• The organization of conferences, exhibitions, lectures and other such events and also the production of booklets of an academic, educational or commemorative character
 
• Cooperation with the state, local government organizations, universities, research institutes, museums and other organizations in Bulgaria and abroad for the promotion of the aims of the Foundation
 
• The establishment of an international "Key" award which will be awarded to institutions or personalities making outstanding contributions to the wider knowledge of European Economical life from ancient times to the pres
